Pepperstone’s CCO and UK CEO Rob Bowen Departs after Seven Years

Pepperstone's Chief Commercial Officer and UK CEO Rob Bowen has left the broker after more than seven years, though he will stay on in an advisory role until year-end.

Pepperstone's Chief Commercial Officer, Rob Bowen, has stepped down from his role after more than seven years with the brokerage. Bowen, who also served as CEO of Pepperstone's FCA-regulated UK arm, left the company last Friday, the broker confirmed to Finance Magnates.

Bowen will remain with the group until the end of the year in an advisory capacity. A Pepperstone spokesperson credited him with playing an important role in the company's growth, strengthening commercial capabilities, expanding the firm's global footprint and supporting the development of high-performing teams across multiple regions.

Bowen joined Pepperstone in mid-2019 to lead its UK business and within months also took on the role of group Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in mid-2025. Prior to Pepperstone, Bowen spent nearly a decade at IG, leaving the London-listed broker as Commercial Director, and before that worked at GNI for eight years.

It remains unclear who will succeed Bowen as the broker's commercial chief or as head of its UK arm. His next career move has not been announced.

Continued Leadership Hires

Pepperstone has been actively strengthening its leadership team. The broker recently appointed Nigel Fernandes as Chief Technology Officer, named Mohammed Almadhoun as Head of Middle East and Osama Hamdan as Head of Sales for its Dubai operations. Earlier this year, Reed Sayer was appointed Head of UK, responsible for growth strategy in the country, client relationships and business expansion in the market.
