Paribu Custody Holds Product Showcase for Financial Sector Leaders

Paribu Custody demonstrated its ColdShield custody architecture at an April 2026 event in Istanbul, highlighting HSM, MPC, and Secure Enclave technologies for institutional crypto custody.

Paribu Custody introduced its proprietary ColdShield custody architecture and platform capabilities at the Paribu Custody Product Showcase, held at Paribu Art in Istanbul on April 16, 2026. The event was hosted by Paribu Founder and CEO Yasin Oral.

The core of the presentation was ColdShield, a security model developed entirely in-house by Paribu engineers. It combines Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Multi-Party Computation (MPC), and Secure Enclave technologies into a single architecture designed for institutional-grade digital asset storage.

Digital Sovereignty and Market Context

Cem Sağlam, Head of Institutional Sales and Business Development at Paribu Custody, opened the event by stressing the strategic importance of digital sovereignty in sectors such as defence, telecommunications, renewable energy, and finance. He noted that tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) represent a growing trend in traditional finance, with the market exceeding USD 28 billion as of April 2026 and projected to reach USD 18.9 trillion by 2033.

Technical Foundation and Platform Features

Ahmet Mesut Şahinoğlu, Engineering Manager at Paribu Custody, explained that the company opted to build its own custody infrastructure rather than outsourcing to third parties. The platform has completed SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits and holds ISO 27001 certification.

The product showcase highlighted features including segregated wallets, real-time asset visibility, fee and off-chain nonce management, role-based access control, Admin Quorum, policy management, and approval workflows. Platform-level capabilities such as Travel Rule compliance via ClearTX, support for over 80 blockchain networks, and staking integration were also demonstrated.

Authorization, Integrity and Proof

Paribu Custody’s approach to core custody challenges was presented under three pillars: authorization, integrity, and proof. The technical session also referenced the roadmap for post-quantum security, particularly regarding elliptic curve cryptography used by major blockchain networks.

Following the presentations, Senior Product Manager Büşra Kırıkcı and Engineering Manager Ahmet Mesut Şahinoğlu led a hands-on demonstration for attendees. On the custodian side, the session covered workspace setup, user onboarding, vault creation, and policy configuration. For institutional clients, workflows for address declaration, asset listing, allowlisting, balance transfers, AML, and staking were shown.

Closing Remarks

Abdulkadir Kahraman, General Manager of Paribu Kripto Varlık Saklama Kuruluşu A.Ş., closed the event by emphasizing the role of domestically developed custody infrastructure in both local and international markets. He invited stakeholders from finance, public institutions, and civil society to collaborate on building Türkiye’s digital asset infrastructure.
