LMAX Expands Perps Beyond BTC and ETH

LMAX Group has expanded its perpetual futures offerings to include 21 cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum, catering to institutional demand for diverse digital asset derivatives with round-the-clock access.

LMAX Group, the cross-asset marketplace operator for FX and digital assets, announced on February 4, 2026, that it has broadened its perpetual futures (perps) product line beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. The expansion responds to growing institutional demand for digital asset derivatives, where breadth and accessibility are becoming as important as execution quality.

The company said it aims to support institutions in diversifying their derivatives strategies by offering round-the-clock market access and enabling a wider range of trading and hedging approaches. The new perps are available exclusively to clients of LMAX Global MU.

The expanded perpetual futures list now includes the following instruments: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), XRP, Solana (SOL), TRON (TRX), Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), Uniswap (UNI), Chainlink (LINK), Aave (AAVE), Aptos (APT), BNB, Toncoin (TON), Sui (SUI), Avalanche (AVAX), Polkadot (DOT), Internet Computer (ICP), Hedera (HBAR), and Near (NEAR).

Key Features for Institutions

LMAX highlighted several benefits of its perpetual futures: traders can capitalise on crypto price movements without owning the underlying asset, positions have no fixed expiry as long as funding is maintained, and execution latency is under 400 microseconds on AWS. Eligible clients can access leverage of up to 100:1, depending on their profile, and benefit from institutional-grade performance including tight spreads and transparent fees.
