Kotak Neo Rolls Out Scalper Pro Web, Neome AI Assistant and Strategy Bot

Kotak Securities’ Neo app offers zero-brokerage youth plans, F&O trading, MTF at 9.69% p.a., and serves over 50 lakh users.

Kotak Securities has detailed the features and pricing plans of its Kotak Neo trading and investing app, which now serves over 50 lakh users. The app provides access to stocks, mutual funds, commodities, futures and options (F&O), margin trading, IPOs, ETFs, and bonds.

Neo offers three pricing tiers. The Trade Free Youth Plan, for investors under 30, charges ₹0 brokerage on stock investments and ₹10 per F&O and intraday trade, with zero annual maintenance charges. The standard Trade Free Plan applies ₹10 per F&O and intraday trade for those over 30. The Trade Free Pro plan provides up to 4x leverage on more than 1,000 stocks through a Margin Trading Facility (MTF) at an annual rate of 9.69%.

Stock trading features include a simplified order form with default quantity and stop-loss for delivery orders, a "Pay Later" option requiring only 20% upfront, price alerts, portfolio analysis with risk and sector allocation insights, and IPO applications via UPI. Users can also invest in stocks and ETFs through a SIP facility.

For derivatives, the app integrates TradingView charts, basket ordering for multiple options contracts, an option chain with Greeks, PCR, and IVP, a payoff analyzer, bracket orders, order slicing for large volumes, and a kill switch to curb overtrading. Instant hedge benefits and stock pledging are also supported.

The mutual fund section offers SIPs starting at ₹100 across 1,000+ schemes, curated fund options, and portfolio tracking. The Demat account opening process is fully digital via e-KYC.

Kotak Securities emphasizes that brokerage does not exceed SEBI-prescribed limits and that screeners and stock baskets are not exchange-approved. The company is registered with SEBI and operates as an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor.
