GBE Brokers Acquires JFD Brokers' Client Base in Asset Deal

GBE Brokers has agreed to acquire the majority of JFD Brokers’ client base and brokerage structures in an asset deal, strengthening its position in German-speaking markets.
GBE Brokers announced on Tuesday that it has agreed to acquire the majority of the client base and brokerage structures of JFD Group Ltd, which operates under the JFD Brokers brand. The transaction is structured as an asset deal and includes client assets in the eight-figure range along with a four-figure number of accounts. As part of the arrangement, parts of the JFD Brokers team will also transfer to GBE Brokers.
The acquisition is intended to strengthen GBE’s position in German-speaking markets. The firm said incoming clients would gain access to improved trading conditions and a broader platform offering. Alongside MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, GBE Brokers offers trading through TradingView. The company added that the transfer of key intermediaries will ensure continuity for existing partnerships, and German-language support will be provided from its Hamburg office.
In a statement, GBE Brokers emphasised its approach to client fund protection. Client funds are held in segregated accounts at Commerzbank AG, the company said, with statutory deposit protection applying and additional coverage of up to €300,000 provided through Lloyd’s of London.
Ben-Florian Henke, owner of GBE Brokers, said the transaction strengthens the firm’s market leadership as a MetaTrader broker in Germany. “We are proud to be able to accelerate our growth through an inorganic transaction,” Henke said. He described the deal as the largest acquisition for GBE Brokers since the company was founded.
The asset deal is expected to expand GBE Brokers’ presence in German-speaking markets and gives the broker a larger client base as it continues to build out its multi-platform offering.
