Gate Stocks Launches on Web, Delivering a Seamless Multi-Asset Trading Experience

Gate, the global cryptocurrency and financial services platform, has launched the web version of its Gate Stocks offering, enabling users to trade equities and ETFs directly from a desktop browser. The web platform complements the existing mobile app, giving traders access to stock markets on both interfaces.

The new web-based stock trading feature allows users to buy and sell shares using USDT, Gate’s stablecoin-denominated trading pair. A unified account system lets investors manage digital assets and stock investments in one place, including consolidated views of positions, profit and loss, transaction history, and corporate actions. This integration aims to simplify cross-market portfolio management.

Gate Stocks currently covers two major equity markets: U.S. stocks and Hong Kong stocks. For U.S. equities, the platform offers access to more than 10,000 stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) across exchanges including NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, and BATS. For Hong Kong stocks, users can trade over 1,000 listed securities, with names such as Tencent Holdings, HSBC Holdings, CATL, China Mobile, Xiaomi Corporation, Meituan, BYD Company, Ping An Insurance, AIA Group, and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX). Gate says it will continue expanding the stock universe based on demand.

The platform also supports pre-market and after-hours trading, extending the regular U.S. market session to a 16-hour, five-day window. This allows traders to react to earnings reports, corporate announcements, and macroeconomic data outside standard hours. Additionally, fractional share trading is available from as little as 0.01 shares, lowering the barrier for investors to gain exposure to high-priced stocks.
