Freedom24 Eyes Switzerland as European Expansion to Move Into Wealth Management

Freedom24, the European platform of Nasdaq-listed Freedom Holding Corp., is evaluating Switzerland as a long-term market and a possible Geneva presence as it moves toward wealth management, AI and digital infrastructure.

Freedom24, the European investment platform of Nasdaq-listed Freedom Holding Corp., is assessing Switzerland as a potential long-term market and exploring a possible presence in Geneva, the company said.

The review comes as Freedom24 widens its European financial-services strategy beyond traditional brokerage. In August, the firm opened its proprietary Tradernet platform to AI tools through the Model Context Protocol and said it is pursuing a European banking licence. It serves more than 600,000 clients across the EU and the European Economic Area under a Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission licence and the MiFID II framework. In June, Finance Magnates reported that Freedom24 was expanding into a broader technology platform in Europe.

Wealth Management and AI in Focus

Alongside the Swiss market study, Freedom24 said it is evaluating opportunities in private wealth management, digital financial infrastructure, artificial intelligence and data governance. It is also considering models that combine Switzerland's relationship-based wealth management approach with technology developed by the wider Freedom Group. The assessment will draw on its existing European infrastructure, including Tradernet and Neo Compliance, an AI-based solution supporting compliance and risk management.

Evgenii Tiapkin, CEO of Freedom24, pointed to Switzerland's established financial sector as a factor behind the interest. "Switzerland has long been a benchmark for private wealth management, institutional discipline, and work based on client trust," he said. Tiapkin added that Geneva "is a logical location to explore how these strengths can be combined with our technologies and operational experience in Europe."

As part of the assessment, Freedom24 plans to engage with Swiss financial, technology and scientific communities. Any future operations would require the necessary regulatory authorisations, and the company said it will provide further details as the market study progresses.
