eToro Pitches Desktop Terminal to Active Traders With a View of Other Clients’ Positions

eToro is inviting active traders to Edge, a desktop terminal that combines charts, news, positions and order entry on one screen and runs on the same account as its mobile app.

eToro is inviting active traders to use Edge, a desktop terminal that combines charts, news, positions and order entry on a single screen, the broker said on Monday, 19 October 2026. The platform runs on the same account as eToro's mobile app, so portfolios and trade history carry over.

The terminal was first presented at eToro's London product event on 7 July, where it was described briefly as a desktop app for active traders. Monday's announcement sets out the toolset and invites clients to sign in. It targets eToro's most active customers at a time when capital markets trades were flat at 48.5 million in the second quarter. Funded accounts rose 18% year on year to 4.28 million, while the average amount invested per trade fell 23% to $207.

Edge covers stocks, ETFs and crypto, plus CFDs where they are available. eToro said clients can trade selected markets, including gold, oil and major indices, around the clock depending on their region. Charts are powered by TradingView, which eToro integrated in March 2023. The terminal adds screeners, linked watchlists, alerts and limit, stop-loss, take-profit and trailing-stop orders, with every panel able to be dragged, resized or removed.

A feature eToro singles out is a sentiment layer showing how millions of other eToro investors are positioned, displayed next to the chart. The company calls the view unique. eToro framed Edge as the desktop counterpart to its mobile app, which is built for quick decisions on the move.

The launch puts eToro alongside rivals that have rolled out desktop terminals. Robinhood introduced Legend, a browser-based platform with advanced charting and custom layouts, in October 2024 and brought it to the UK about seven months later, free for account holders, with around 6,000 US stocks and options contracts. Morgan Stanley's ETRADE piloted Power ETRADE Pro, a separate desktop client with up to 120 tools across six screens, in April 2025 for its most active customers.

Longer trading hours are not new for eToro, which expanded 24/5 trading to every S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 stock in November 2025. Edge also follows Agent Portfolios, rolled out from March to let clients connect their own AI agents to a ring-fenced sub-account. Clients reach the terminal at edge.etoro.com using their existing eToro login.
