cTrader wins Best Trading Platform as Spotware puts broker growth in focus at iFX EXPO Asia

Spotware's cTrader was named Best Trading Platform at the UF Awards APAC 2026 during iFX EXPO Asia in Hong Kong, where the vendor pitched new client acquisition, differentiation and liquidity tools to brokers.

Spotware's cTrader platform was named Best Trading Platform at the UF Awards APAC 2026, presented during iFX EXPO Asia in Hong Kong. The vendor used the event to set out how it intends to help brokers grow, with the recognition landing as the platform expands across key Asian markets, including a version localised specifically for traders in mainland China.

Globally, cTrader says it counts more than 12 million traders and supports 23 languages, serving over 300 brokers and prop firms. On the product side, the platform has moved to accommodate AI-driven workflows: cTrader MCP servers for trading link the platform to widely used AI applications, allowing traders to state requirements in plain language while the AI analyses markets, manages accounts, handles orders and positions, or adjusts the trading workspace. A separate command-line interface, cTrader CLI, lets users manage trading, account and algo operations manually or delegate them to an AI assistant.

Serving both ends of the experience curve

For less experienced traders, cTrader leans on a mobile-first interface alongside built-in risk management tools, executable signals, price alerts and educational content. More advanced users get granular order controls, a professional technical analysis workspace, native C# and Python support, and free 24/7 cloud execution for cBots without needing a virtual private server.

Much of the Hong Kong conversation centred on three broker questions: how to acquire clients without additional spending, what to offer that competitors do not, and how to cut the cost of a liquidity setup. cTrader's answer to the first is its Leads programme, which is designed to surface traders already exploring broker offerings inside cTrader at no upfront cost. Those opportunities flow through cTrader Store and the cross-broker cTrader app, which the company says attract more than 170,000 visits a month. It reports an average first deposit of $800 after conversion, with 2.3 deposits per user per month.

On differentiation, Spotware pointed to multi-platform plugins that let brokers and prop firms build their own tools into cTrader, pre-install them for clients and optionally list them in cTrader Store, without waiting for a core platform release. On liquidity, institutional provider cFinancial drew what the company described as particularly strong interest at the expo, with business development manager Ricardo Dias calling it "the star of the Expo." cFinancial offers executable pricing, intelligent routing and resilient infrastructure at a flat commission of $4 per $1M on FX and metals. Managing that flow falls to cBridge, a standalone liquidity bridge that combines aggregation, routing and exposure in one workflow across cTrader, MT4, MT5 and FIX API, with fixed infrastructure-based pricing that does not scale with volume and potential savings of up to 80% versus volume-based models.
