cTrader wins Best Trading Platform as Spotware puts broker growth in focus at iFX EXPO Asia

Spotware's cTrader took the Best Trading Platform title at the UF Awards APAC 2026 during iFX EXPO Asia, as the company pushed AI tooling, broker lead generation and fixed-price liquidity infrastructure.

cTrader, the trading platform developed by Cyprus-based fintech Spotware Systems, was named Best Trading Platform at the UF Awards APAC 2026, with the honour announced during iFX EXPO Asia in Hong Kong on Monday, 12 October 2026. Spotware said the recognition reflects the platform's expanding presence in key Asian markets, including mainland China, where cTrader is specifically localised for local traders. Globally, the company says more than 12 million traders use cTrader, which supports 23 languages and serves over 300 brokers and prop firms.

According to Spotware, artificial intelligence was a central theme for both traders and brokers at the event, and cTrader has been positioned accordingly. Its MCP servers for trading link the platform to widely used AI applications, allowing a trader to describe a task in plain language while the AI analyses markets, manages accounts and handles orders and positions or adjusts the trading workspace. A separate command-line interface, cTrader CLI, lets users manage trading, account and algo operations manually or delegate them to an AI assistant.

On the broker side, Spotware highlighted three questions it said dominated conversations in Hong Kong: how to acquire clients without additional spending, how to stand out from competitors, and how to make liquidity arrangements more cost-efficient. Its response includes the cTrader Leads programme, which is offered at no upfront cost and channels opportunities from cTrader Store and the cross-broker cTrader app, which together draw more than 170,000 visits per month. Spotware reported an average first deposit of $800 after conversion, with an average of 2.3 deposits per user each month.

Differentiation and liquidity

For firms looking to differentiate, multi-platform plugins allow brokers and prop firms to build their own tools and services into cTrader, pre-install them for clients and optionally list them in cTrader Store, without waiting for a core platform release.

On liquidity, cFinancial, an institutional provider for brokers and prop firms, drew strong interest at the expo. Ricardo Dias, Business Development Manager, described it as "the star of the Expo." cFinancial offers executable pricing, intelligent routing and resilient infrastructure at a flat commission of $4 per $1 million on FX and metals. Spotware paired that with cBridge, a standalone liquidity bridge that consolidates aggregation, routing and exposure management into one workflow across cTrader, MT4, MT5 and FIX API. With fixed, infrastructure-based pricing, bridge costs do not scale with trading volume, which Spotware said can deliver savings of up to 80% versus volume-based models.

Spotware Systems was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, with a global team of more than 200 staff.
