CoinList Predicts a Wave of Token Sales and a new ATH for Bitcoin in 2026

Alex Topchishvili, CoinList's CMO, predicts Bitcoin will hit a new all-time high in 2026 and expects a wave of token sales as crypto exchanges embrace ICOs.

CoinList Chief Marketing Officer Alex Topchishvili has laid out a bullish outlook for the crypto market in 2026, forecasting a fresh all-time high for Bitcoin and a resurgence of initial coin offerings (ICOs).

In an interview with Incrypted, Topchishvili highlighted several structural shifts that he believes will define the year. He argued that capital will increasingly flow toward applications with real-world utility, user bases, and revenue, rather than into layer‑one blockchain protocols. "Applications will 'eat' protocols," he said, pointing to ready‑made solutions — especially in areas like faster and more profitable gambling tools — as likely to deliver better investment returns.

Topchishvili also expects major crypto exchanges to reintroduce token sales as a way to attract fresh audiences. This, he said, could lead to the launch of new platforms and a broad wave of ICOs, reminiscent of the 2017 boom but with more mature mechanics. The market, he noted, is shifting toward on‑chain finance: users prefer self‑custody of keys, and developers want to keep users inside their own applications rather than relying on ecosystem liquidity. Decentralized token sale mechanisms are gaining traction as a result.

On Bitcoin, Topchishvili predicted the cryptocurrency would break its traditional four‑year cycle and reach a new record high in 2026, although he did not provide a specific price target.

The forecasts come as CoinList, a platform known for hosting token sales and public offerings, positions itself at the center of the anticipated ICO wave. The comments reflect growing optimism that the next crypto cycle will be driven by application‑layer projects and renewed retail interest via exchange‑led token sales.
