CME Group 1-Ounce Gold (1OZ) Futures is Now Available for Live Trading!

CME Group has launched its smallest gold futures contract, the 1-Ounce Gold (1OZ) future, now available through AMP Futures across its data feeds.
CME Group has begun live trading in its smallest gold futures contract yet, the 1-Ounce Gold (1OZ) futures product. The new contract offers a $0.25 tick size and is designed for traders looking to access the gold market at a much smaller scale than existing CME gold products.
The 1OZ contract represents one-tenth the size of a Micro Gold (MGC) futures contract and one-hundredth of a standard Gold (GC) futures contract. Its introduction gives futures traders another lower-capital option for trading gold while retaining direct exposure to COMEX gold price movements.
AMP Futures has confirmed support for the new contract across all of its available data feeds, including CQG, Rithmic, TT and Sierra Chart with Teton. On CQG, the contract trades under the symbol M1OZ, with the current front month example M1OZQ25. On all other data feeds, the contract uses the symbol 1OZ, with the front month represented as 1OZQ25.
AMP has also added the new product to its Exact Cost Calculator, enabling clients to estimate trading costs for the contract before placing orders. Traders who want to access 1OZ futures will need to have COMEX/CME market data enabled on their AMP trading account.
The launch expands CME Group’s gold futures lineup, giving market participants a smaller alternative to the standard and micro gold contracts while maintaining the same underlying COMEX gold market.
