CFDs broker BlackBull sees Revenues up 30% in FY2026 to $24 million

Black Bull Group, operator of retail FX and CFDs broker BlackBull Markets, posted a 30% rise in FY2026 revenue to NZ$41.2 million, though net profit eased to NZ$1.7 million.

Black Bull Group Limited, the New Zealand parent company behind retail FX and CFDs broker BlackBull Markets, has reported revenue of NZ$41.2 million (about USD $24 million) for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. That represents a 30% increase from NZ$31.7 million in the prior year.

Net profit for FY2026 came in at NZ$1.7 million (about USD $1.0 million), down slightly from NZ$2.0 million in FY2025, reflecting higher costs during the year. Client assets, however, showed strong growth, reaching NZ$99.0 million (about USD $57 million) at year-end, up 85% from NZ$53.4 million in FY2025.

The results follow earlier reports that BlackBull Markets is planning to go public, likely through a dual listing in Australia and New Zealand. In March, The Australian Financial Review reported that BlackBull had generated revenue in the range of AUD $62 million (about USD $43 million) and net profit of roughly AUD $22 million (about USD $15 million) over the past year. Those figures are significantly higher than Black Bull Group Limited's FY2026 results, although the AFR's totals, if correct, could include the performance of other group companies.

BlackBull is controlled by co-founders CEO Michael Walker and Director of Operations Selwyn Loekman. UK institutional trading firm LMAX and New Zealand investment firm Milford Asset Management hold minority stakes in the company.

Black Bull Group Limited's FY2026 income statement and balance sheet were included in the filing, providing additional detail on the broker's financial position.
