Bybit Pay Plugs Into Mesh Crypto Payments Network

Bybit Pay has plugged into Mesh's network of 300-plus wallets and exchanges, letting Bybit's 80 million users pay on Mesh-powered platforms straight from their exchange balances without withdrawals or conversions.

Bybit has partnered with crypto payments network Mesh to let its 80 million users spend directly from their exchange balances across Mesh-powered platforms through Bybit Pay. Bybit, which describes itself as the world's second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, said the payment option is available to businesses on Mesh today, and that merchants already integrated with Mesh can enable it without building anything new.

The integration removes the steps that normally sit between holding a digital asset and spending it. Users no longer need to withdraw funds, convert assets manually or move money between platforms before paying. At top-up or checkout on a Mesh-powered platform, they select Bybit Pay and draw on the assets already held on the exchange.

Settlement orchestration is the commercial logic

Mesh's network spans more than 300 wallets and exchanges and lets consumers pay with a wide range of cryptocurrencies while merchants receive settlement in the asset they want. That orchestration layer attracted backing from PayPal and Coinbase and has taken Mesh's total raise past $130 million. Adding an exchange of Bybit's size widens the pool of balances the layer can reach.

"Bybit has built one of the most engaged communities in crypto," said Bam Azizi, CEO and co-founder of Mesh. "People shouldn't have to move their money to use it. We bring the network to where the money already is."

Sophie Chen, head of marketing for Bybit Card and Pay, said Bybit Pay is built to remove friction between holding digital assets and using them to pay, adding that the partnership extends the capability to more payment experiences and strengthens Bybit Pay's role in connecting digital assets with the wider payments ecosystem.

For businesses, Bybit said the integration offers access to its global user base along with quick settlement and infrastructure designed for payments at scale. Its architecture also supports programmable settlement options, giving merchants more control over how and when funds are settled across markets.

The deal fits a distribution strategy Bybit Pay has been building through 2025 and 2026: rather than signing up acceptance market by market, it plugs into networks that already have it. The clearest precedent is Armenia, where Bybit Pay integrated with Idram to reach more than 25,000 retail locations through a partner holding roughly 90% of the local QR payments market. Mesh applies the same approach to online checkout rather than physical retail.
