Bybit Adds 24/7 FX Majors to Its Crypto Derivatives Account

Bybit has added round-the-clock trading in major FX pairs to its crypto derivatives account, leading a daily recap that also covered the blocked CLARITY Act and Interactive Brokers' X integration.

Bybit has extended round-the-clock access to major foreign exchange pairs through its crypto derivatives account, according to a broker and fintech news recap. The change means FX majors can be traded continuously rather than only during conventional market hours.

The addition of 24/7 FX majors sits alongside a broader set of developments covered in the same daily roundup, which also tracked regulation, platform integrations and the retail prop trading sector.

Regulation and platform news

In the United States, the Senate blocked the CLARITY Act, a legislative item flagged as one of the day's principal stories. On the brokerage side, Interactive Brokers was cited for connecting X (formerly Twitter) Cashtags to trading, linking social media ticker references with order functionality.

Trading technology provider Match-Trade was highlighted for offering a seven-day prop firm launch through its Match-Prop product, a shortened timeline aimed at firms looking to stand up a proprietary trading operation quickly.

The Financial Commission featured in the recap over its push to mediate disputes in retail prop trading, a segment it says has grown faster than oversight. In a discussion with host Adonis Adoni, Financial Commission COO Nikolai Isayev outlined how the organisation handles trader complaints, its new prop trading certification, and the difficulty of policing firms that present fake certificates or operate as scams. The body's latest figures were described as showing a roughly one-to-three win-loss ratio in favour of brokers.

Other items in the roundup included a KYC-related data incident at Revolut, a shutdown at crypto exchange CoinEx, and Anthropic's move into financial services. The recap also noted that FX's share of retail broker volumes continued to decline, while Your Bourse opened a new office in Kuala Lumpur and Brokeree rolled out a redesigned PAMM system for brokers.

Together the items point to a retail trading industry reshuffling its product mix, tightening — or in some cases still lacking — dispute mechanisms, and pushing further into crypto-linked and social-driven execution.
