BrightFunded Launches Three New Tailored Challenge Plans

BrightFunded has replaced its previous evaluation structure with three new challenge plans—1-Step, 2-Step Bright, and 2-Step Classic—offering varied profit targets, drawdown rules, and flexibility.

BrightFunded, a proprietary trading firm offering funded account challenges, has announced a complete restructuring of its evaluation programs. The platform now provides three distinct challenge plans tailored to different trading styles and risk preferences, replacing its previous single-structure approach.

The Three New Plans

  • 1-Step Challenge: A single-phase evaluation with a 10% profit target, 3% daily drawdown (trailing high-water mark), and a 6% trailing maximum drawdown that locks once equity exceeds the initial balance by 6%. Profit share is 15%.
  • 2-Step Bright Challenge: Two phases with profit targets of 8% (Phase 1) and 5% (Phase 2). Daily drawdown is 4%, and maximum drawdown is a fixed 8% static limit. Profit share is 15%.
  • 2-Step Classic Challenge: Two phases with profit targets of 10% (Phase 1) and 5% (Phase 2). Daily drawdown is 5%, and maximum drawdown is a fixed 10% static limit. Profit share is 15%.

Drawdown Rules Explained Daily drawdown limits are calculated based on the higher of equity or balance at the start of the day. The 1-Step plan uses a trailing maximum drawdown that follows the highest equity reached, locking after a 6% gain above the initial balance. The 2-Step plans use static maximum drawdown limits fixed to the original account balance.

Transition from the Original Plan BrightFunded's previous 'Original' challenge will remain available for a limited time to support existing users. Upon the update, users will automatically transition to the new structure. The support team is available to assist traders in selecting the most suitable plan.
