BloFin Partners with Koinly to Simplify Crypto Tax Reporting

Cryptocurrency exchange BloFin has announced a new partnership with Koinly, a crypto tax reporting platform, to simplify tax preparation for its users. The integration allows BloFin customers to connect their trading activity directly to Koinly and produce tax reports in less than 20 minutes.

Users can link their BloFin accounts by generating a read-only Tax API key from their exchange account or by uploading a CSV file of their transaction history. Once connected, Koinly analyzes the data automatically and creates tax reports tailored to the user's individual needs. As part of the collaboration, BloFin users are also eligible for a 10% discount on Koinly's services.

Koinly says it is trusted by more than 2 million investors globally and supports over 800 exchanges and wallets. The platform also claims more than 1,000 integrations and compatibility with over 7,200 DeFi protocols. It calculates tax implications for complex crypto activity, including DeFi transactions, staking rewards, and liquidity provision, while holding SOC2 Type 2 and ISO27001 certifications to support its security standards.

The partnership comes as crypto traders increasingly look for streamlined ways to handle tax reporting across multiple platforms and activities. By connecting BloFin's trading infrastructure with Koinly's tax tools, the exchange aims to offer a more structured approach to managing trade history and meeting tax obligations.
