Bitfinex Securities to Recommence Tokenised Bond Issuances from ALTERNATIVE

Bitfinex Securities will resume regular tokenised bond offerings for Luxembourg-based ALTERNATIVE, aiming for over $10M in future issuances after a successful $6.2M initial programme.

Bitfinex Securities, a regulated platform for tokenised securities, announced on March 2, 2026, that it will recommence regular tokenised bond issuances for ALTERNATIVE, a Luxembourg-based securitisation fund managed by MK Global Kapital Sàrl (formerly Mikro Kapital).

The new issuance plan builds on a collaboration that began in 2023, during which four tokenised bonds totalling $6.2 million-equivalent were issued through Bitfinex Securities. Three of those bonds have matured and were fully repaid, amounting to $1 million-equivalent, while 20 coupon payments totalling over $1.1 million-equivalent have been made. The successful completion of the first full tokenised bond cycle in 2025 demonstrated the viability of the model.

Future issuances are expected to exceed $10 million, expanding Bitfinex Securities’ current offering of $250 million in tokenised securities. The bonds will be denominated in USDt and settled on the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain. All capital raises, coupon payments, and principal repayments will be executed on-chain in USDt. Token issuance and management are supported by Hadron, Tether’s real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation platform.

ALTERNATIVE’s tokenised bonds provide investors exposure to impact investments in emerging markets, including support for women-led enterprises and SMEs. The programme blends impact finance with blockchain-based settlement transparency.

Jesse Knutson, Head of Operations at Bitfinex Securities, said the listing is part of the platform’s strategy to expand its portfolio of tokenised securities and RWA assets, connecting global investors with regulated, blockchain-based instruments. Bitfinex Securities is regulated in the Astana International Finance Centre in Kazakhstan and in El Salvador.
