Brazil's Lula: No Ban on US Talks, Will Seek Alternative Markets

Brazilian President Lula stated there is no ban on negotiating with the US but indicated he will look for other markets for products not sold to America, citing a lack of reciprocity in dialogue.

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said that while there is no ban on negotiating with the United States, his government will seek alternative markets for products that cannot be sold to the US.

Speaking on trade relations, Lula noted that he personally traveled to the US but did not find reciprocity in dialogue. He added that Brazilian export results demonstrate the country's capacity to emerge stronger from the current crisis.

The remarks come amid ongoing trade tensions and efforts by Brazil to diversify its export destinations.
