CoinGecko: 70% of Pumpfun Tokens Stop Trading on Launch Day

A CoinGecko study of 18.6 million assets created on Pumpfun from January 2024 to June 2026 found that 68.6% saw their last trade on the day of launch, and only 4.5% traded for longer than three months.

Analysts at CoinGecko analyzed 18.6 million tokens created on the Pumpfun platform between January 2024 and June 2026. The research revealed that 12.8 million (68.6%) of these assets recorded their final trade on the launch date.

Within the first two days after launch, trading activity ceased for 80% of all tokens. Only 4.5% of the assets studied remained tradable for more than three months, highlighting a very short lifespan for the vast majority of tokens issued on the platform.
