Trump Discusses 'Massive Offensive' in Iran at Situation Room Meeting

President Trump held a Situation Room meeting to discuss a broader offensive against Iran, threatening that Tehran 'better make a deal' or face devastating strikes.

President Trump convened a Situation Room meeting on Tuesday to discuss plans for what Axios describes as a "massive offensive" against Iran. The proposed strikes would be wider in scope than the current operations around the Strait of Hormuz.

Senior officials attending the meeting included Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Dan Caine, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, and envoy Steve Witkoff.

The meeting focused on new plans for "devastating strikes on strategic targets in Iran." Trump warned that Iran "better make a deal" or they are "not going to have anything left."
