South Korea’s KOSPI Plunges Over 10%, Triggers Trading Halts
Asia-Pacific equities sold off sharply overnight, with South Korea’s benchmark KOSPI index losing more than 10% and nearing its March low.

Asia-Pacific shares faced heavy selling, and South Korea’s KOSPI led the regional decline with a drop exceeding 10%.
The plunge triggered two temporary trading halts. The index is now approaching its March low of 5,042.
From its all-time high of 9,385, the KOSPI has declined nearly 40%.
