VTB Survey: 25% of Investors Ready to Use AI for Decisions
A VTB My Investments survey finds one in four investors willing to use AI for trading decisions, as the broker reports adding 1,500-2,000 new accounts weekly to its AI service 'Intellect'.
VTB My Investments has released a survey indicating that one in four investors is prepared to use artificial intelligence (AI) for decision-making. The findings point to growing acceptance of AI-driven tools among retail investors, particularly younger demographics.
In an interview with Kommersant FM at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Dmitry Melnikov, head of investment consulting at VTB, highlighted strong uptake of the broker's AI service 'Intellect'. "We are connecting around 1,500-2,000 new accounts per week. So there is trust in the technology," he said.
The survey also reveals a broader shift in investor behavior, with stocks and bonds increasingly being added to portfolios alongside traditional deposits and savings accounts. VTB's AI initiative appears to be capitalizing on this trend.
