USD/MXN Near 17.40 as Mexican Peso Slips for Third Day

The Mexican Peso weakened for a third consecutive session, with USD/MXN trading around 17.40 as the dollar stayed firm ahead of the Fed’s policy announcement.

The Mexican Peso continued to edge lower against the US Dollar on Tuesday, with USD/MXN hovering around the 17.40 mark. The pair’s modest rise marked a third consecutive session of peso weakness.

The US Dollar retained a broadly firm tone despite softer-than-expected US data, supported by cautious positioning before the Federal Reserve’s upcoming policy announcement.
