US Central Command (CENTCOM) has denied reports that it attacked a wheat storage facility. In a statement on X, CENTCOM confirmed that on July 14, US forces conducted strikes on Iranian military positions in multiple cities.

The operation aimed to degrade Iran's capacity to target commercial shipping in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. The denial comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with previous incidents involving shipping and Iranian forces.
