In a first for Ukraine, seized virtual assets have been handed over to state management. The National Agency for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMA) received over 8.3 million USDT into its official crypto wallet.

The cryptocurrency was confiscated as part of an investigation into an international hacker group. According to investigators, the group conducted cyberattacks targeting individuals and companies across Europe and the US, stealing sensitive information and demanding ransoms.

The illicit proceeds were laundered in Ukraine, with purchases of real estate, vehicles, and other high-value property.
