SecondFi Hacked, 16M ADA Stolen on Cardano

SecondFi has reported a security breach in its Cardano wallet, forcing the platform into safe mode. Hackers drained approximately 16 million ADA from 374 addresses, worth about $2.4 million at the time.

SecondFi has disclosed a security incident affecting its wallet on the Cardano blockchain. The team placed the platform into safe maintenance mode, temporarily blocking user transactions while assessing the breach.

According to an update, attackers managed to withdraw roughly 16 million ADA from 374 addresses. The total loss amounts to around $2.4 million based on the ADA price at the time of the exploit.

The investigation is ongoing. No further details on the vulnerability or recovery steps have been provided yet.
