Pause in US-Iran Strikes Signals De-escalation, Official Says

An anonymous official described a halt in U.S. strikes and Iranian retaliatory attacks on neighboring countries hosting American forces as a positive signal for de-escalation efforts.

A temporary pause in military exchanges between the U.S. and Iran-aligned groups is being viewed as a constructive step, according to an official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The official noted that both the cessation of U.S. strikes and the halt of Iranian retaliatory attacks against neighboring countries hosting U.S. forces are encouraging signs that support diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.
