New Zealand Dollar Gains as Softer Fed Outlook Offsets Middle East Tensions

NZD/USD rose to around 0.5850, up 0.14%, as the US Dollar weakened following softer US inflation data, outweighing geopolitical concerns from the Middle East.

NZDUSD

The New Zealand Dollar edged higher against the US Dollar on Monday, with NZD/USD trading around 0.5850, gaining 0.14% on the day.

The move comes as the US Dollar weakened after the latest US inflation report reinforced expectations of a softer Federal Reserve policy stance. This offset lingering safe-haven demand driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
