Iran's Qalibaf: Lebanon Proves Diplomacy and Military Action Beat Enemies

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said Lebanon's experience shows that combining diplomacy with military action defeats enemies, citing examples of retaliation threats and direct military intervention.

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf pointed to Lebanon as a case study for defeating adversaries through a blend of diplomatic and military measures. According to his remarks, Beirut was safeguarded at certain times by threatening retaliation and suspending negotiations, while at other moments direct military action was employed.

Qalibaf's statement underscores Iran's strategic doctrine that views military strength as a complement to diplomatic efforts. The comments come amid ongoing regional tensions and reflect Tehran's broader stance on projecting power through both soft and hard means.
