Iran Guards Claim Attacks on US Targets in Kuwait and Bahrain

Iran's Revolutionary Guards have claimed missile and drone strikes against a US naval fuel-support pier in Kuwait and a combat aircraft site in Bahrain, according to an IRGC-affiliated news agency.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for launching missile and drone attacks on US military installations in Kuwait and Bahrain, the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported.

The attacks reportedly targeted a US naval fuel-support pier at Al-Ahmadi port in Kuwait and a combat aircraft site at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. The claims have not been independently verified and come amid heightened tensions in the region.

The development adds to existing geopolitical risks, with potential implications for energy markets and regional stability. Market participants are monitoring for any official confirmation or retaliation.
