Intel-backed AI chip startup Sambanova is reportedly seeking to raise between $800 million and $1 billion in a new funding round, according to sources cited by @FirstSquaw. The round, which could exceed $1 billion, would value the company at approximately $10 billion—roughly five times its previous valuation.

General Atlantic is said to be in talks to lead the funding round, which may close as early as next week. The strong investor interest underscores the continued appetite for AI infrastructure companies.
