Ill Bloom Wallet Vulnerability Leads to $3M Losses Due to Weak Seed Entropy

Blockchain security firm Coinspect has disclosed a critical vulnerability in the Ill Bloom crypto wallet, tied to weak entropy in seed phrase generation, resulting in at least $3 million in user losses.

Blockchain security team Coinspect has identified a vulnerability in the Ill Bloom crypto wallet. The flaw stems from weak entropy during seed phrase generation, which drastically reduces the possible seed space.

Attackers can exploit this by brute-forcing private keys, gaining unauthorized access to user funds. According to Coinspect, the issue has already caused losses of at least $3 million.

The disclosure did not provide a timeline or specific affected versions, but the team urged users to take precautionary measures.
