Year-to-date inflows from global investment funds into US equities have climbed to roughly 2.5% of total assets under management, more than double the level seen in May. The pace marks a record for this point in the year.
By comparison, the 2002–2025 average for the same period stands at -0.3% (net outflows). Even when excluding the top and bottom 10% of years, average inflows reached only about 1.5% by this date. The current pace has already outpaced the full-year total recorded in the middle 50% of years since 2002.
The data, tracked by The Kobeissi Letter, indicates that demand for US equities from foreign investors is at an all-time high.
