Evtushenkov Reveals Sber Negotiations for Ozon Stake; No Deal Reached

Vladimir Evtushenkov disclosed that AFK Sistema held talks with Sberbank about selling a stake in Ozon, but no agreement was reached. Sber CEO Gref reiterated the bank does not plan to invest in marketplaces.

AFK Sistema's Vladimir Evtushenkov stated that negotiations with Sberbank over a potential stake in Ozon did not result in a deal. The talks involved the sale of a portion of AFK Sistema's holding in the marketplace.

Sberbank CEO German Gref confirmed the discussions but emphasized that the bank has no intention of becoming a shareholder in e-commerce platforms. The announcement was made during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
