Euro Advances Against Canadian Dollar Ahead of HCOB PMI Data

EUR/CAD rises for a second day, trading near 1.6230 in European hours, as the euro strengthens ahead of German and Eurozone HCOB PMI releases.

EURCAD

EUR/CAD extended its gains for a second consecutive session, hovering around 1.6230 during European trading on Friday.

The euro strengthened as traders positioned for the release of the HCOB Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) data from Germany and the Eurozone later in the session. The data is expected to provide fresh cues on the economic health of the region.

The currency pair's move reflects a broader trend of euro resilience against the Canadian dollar amid diverging monetary policy expectations and commodity price dynamics.
