EUR/USD Recovery Limited as Safe-Haven Dollar Gets Support From Middle East Tensions

EUR/USD holds near 1.1415, up 0.15% on Wednesday, but gains are capped as geopolitical risks in the Middle East boost demand for the safe-haven US dollar, preventing a sustained breakout.

EURUSD

The euro is struggling to extend its gains against the US dollar on Wednesday, with EUR/USD trading around 1.1415—up 0.15% on the day. However, the pair's recovery remains limited after failing to break above a key resistance level.

Pressure on the euro comes from renewed safe-haven demand for the US dollar, driven by escalating tensions in the Middle East. The geopolitical uncertainty continues to support the greenback, capping any upside in the single currency.

Traders are now watching for further developments in the region as well as any economic data that could shift the near-term outlook for the pair.
