Dow, S&P Open Higher; Nasdaq Slightly Lower

The Dow Jones and S&P 500 edged higher at the open while the Nasdaq dipped slightly.

US stock indices showed mixed moves at the opening bell. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 152.24 points, or 0.30%, reaching 51,716.94. The S&P 500 gained 9.10 points, or 0.12%, to 7,509.68. In contrast, the Nasdaq Composite declined 34.64 points, or 0.13%, to 26,483.29.
