Chevron Signs Agreements with Iraq for Oilfield Negotiations and Pipeline Project

Chevron has signed agreements with Iraq's Basra Oil Company and Thi Qar Oil Company to advance commercial negotiations for the West Qurna 2 and Nassiriya oilfields, along with a heads of agreement for a potential cross-border oil pipeline project involving Iraq and Syria.

Chevron announced that it has signed an agreement with Iraq's Basra Oil Company to advance commercial negotiations for the West Qurna 2 oilfield. Additionally, the company signed an agreement with Iraq's Thi Qar Oil Company to move forward negotiations for the Nassiriya oilfield and surrounding exploration area. A heads of agreement has also been signed with Iraq and Syria for a potential cross-border oil pipeline project.
