AUD/USD Rises to 0.6940 on Upbeat Australian PMIs, Soft US Labor Data

The Australian Dollar climbed against the US Dollar on Friday, nearing 0.6940, supported by better-than-expected Australian PMI data and a weaker USD following softer US labor market reports.

The AUD/USD pair extended its gains on Friday, trading near the 0.6940 level. Positive Australian Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) readings improved sentiment, driving demand for the Aussie. Meanwhile, the US Dollar weakened after United States labor market data came in softer than anticipated, adding further support to the pair.

Traders now monitor the 0.6940 resistance area, with further upside possible if the data-driven momentum continues. The combination of stronger domestic fundamentals and a softer greenback underpins the current bullish bias for AUD/USD.
