AUD/USD Falls to 0.6900, Further Drop Toward 0.6830 Seen

The AUD/USD pair declined 0.28% to near 0.6900 during Wednesday's European session, hitting its lowest level in over two weeks. Analysts expect additional downside toward the 0.6830 area.

AUDUSD

The Australian dollar extended its losses against the US dollar on Wednesday, with AUD/USD slipping 0.28% to trade near the 0.6900 mark during European hours. This marks the weakest level for the pair in over two weeks.

Technical analysts point to further downside potential, with the next key support level seen around 0.6830. A break below that zone could open the door for a deeper sell-off, while resistance now lies at the 0.6950 region.

The move comes amid broad US dollar strength and risk-off sentiment, weighing on commodity-linked currencies like the Aussie.
