AUD Rallies on Peace Deal Missing One Signature

The Australian Dollar rallied on Thursday, climbing above 0.7000 as a peace agreement between Washington and Tehran remains incomplete, lacking one final signature.

AUDUSD

The Australian Dollar strengthened on Thursday, breaking above the 0.7000 handle after being pinned below that level earlier in the session. The move followed reports that a peace deal between the United States and Iran was missing one signature, suggesting progress toward a resolution despite ongoing tensions.

Traders reacted to the prospect of de-escalation, pushing the AUD higher against the US dollar. The currency had been under pressure as Washington and Tehran exchanged fire for a second straight day, but the rally reflects cautious optimism that the deal may soon be finalized.

The missing signature introduces a note of uncertainty, limiting further upside for now.
