AUD/JPY edges higher to 112.80 as peace hopes boost risk sentiment

AUD/JPY rose to around 112.80 in early European trading on Friday, supported by optimism over a potential Middle East peace deal. The pair remains in a bullish structure despite fading upside momentum.

AUDJPY

The AUD/JPY cross traded higher near 112.80 during the early European session on Friday, extending gains above the 112.50 level.

The Australian Dollar strengthened against the Japanese Yen as market participants grew hopeful that a Middle East peace deal could be reached, supporting risk appetite.

While the pair remains in a bullish technical setup, the pace of upside momentum has slowed. Traders are monitoring the 112.50 zone as near-term support and a break above 113.00 as the next resistance.

No further fundamental triggers were cited, and price action is likely to remain driven by broader risk sentiment and Middle East developments.
