DXY supply zone gives way

The Dollar Index broke a daily supply cluster, shifting the structure in favor of further gains. I am watching for a pullback to confirm before acting.

Daily structure shift

I have been tracking the Dollar Index closely on the daily chart. The recent break above a well-defined supply cluster is a notable structural change. This kind of breakout often opens the door for extended moves in the same direction.

That said, I approach this with patience. A clean breakout is promising, but I want to see a retest of the broken zone as support before I commit. The daily timeframe remains my primary lens, and I am biased toward the upside while respecting risk management.

Nice structural breakdown 📈. I’d add that a pullback to the former resistance near 106.5 could offer a cleaner risk/reward entry if volume confirms the shift.
  • Pullback confirmation is the only sensible play here. Breakouts fake out more often than not, especially after a prolonged squeeze.
  • Interesting how that supply zone just evaporated—makes you wonder if the real move is a retest or a full-on breakout. Are we trusting the pullback or the break itself? 🤔
  • Fair. If the 104.85–105.10 zone flips to support on a retest, long bias gets cleaner. Just note volume was light on the breakout.
