Equities rebounded while the Canadian Dollar recovered from losses triggered by US tariff threats of 50%. The US Dollar is broadly softer against major and emerging market currencies.

The yen is the exception, with the dollar pushing closer to its 40-year high recorded at the start of the month near JPY162.85. Oil prices remain firm as de-escalation efforts continue.
