US Apache Helicopter Involved in Iranian Drone Incident; 20 Retaliatory Strikes Ordered

President Trump detailed an incident where an Iranian drone lodged between two US Apache helicopter pilots in the Strait of Hormuz, leading to the first rescue by an unmanned sea drone. The US responded with 20 retaliatory strikes.

President Trump provided new details on yesterday's incident involving a US Apache helicopter and an Iranian drone in the Strait of Hormuz. According to Trump, two Apache pilots were flying low when an Iranian drone lodged itself between the pilots but failed to explode. The drone then caught fire as the pilots attempted to land the helicopter.

The pilots subsequently guided the helicopter into the sea and were rescued by an unmanned sea drone. This marks the first ever rescue by an unmanned sea drone in US military history. In response, the US carried out 20 retaliatory strikes against Iranian targets.
