A coalition of major crypto companies, including a16z, Coinbase, Uniswap, and Solana, has sent a joint letter to US Congress calling for legal protections for developers in the Crypto Clarity Act.

A group of prominent cryptocurrency firms has jointly appealed to the US Congress to incorporate legal safeguards for developers within the proposed Crypto Clarity Act. The letter, signed by more than a dozen leading industry players, emphasizes the need for clear legal frameworks that protect software developers from undue liability.

Signatories include venture capital firm a16z, decentralized finance platforms Aave and Uniswap, exchanges Coinbase, Kraken, and BitGo, blockchain networks Solana, Aptos, and Zcash, hardware wallet maker Ledger, and others such as Galaxy Digital, Hyperliquid, and 1inch.
