Russia's Natural Resources Minister Alexander Kozlov announced that the country's gold production is expected to increase to 480-500 tons in 2026, according to an interview with TASS. Silver output is forecast at 2,800-3,000 tons, while platinum group metals are projected at 134-137 tons.
For 2025, preliminary expert estimates indicate gold production of 480-485 tons, silver at 2,600-2,800 tons, and platinum group metals at 134-136 tons. Final figures for 2025 are still being calculated.
