PBOC sets USD/CNY reference rate at 6.8088, weaker than previous fix

The People's Bank of China set the USD/CNY central rate for Thursday at 6.8088, compared to the previous day's fix of 6.8067 and the Reuters estimate of 6.7929.

USDCNY

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) set the USD/CNY central rate for Thursday's trading session at 6.8088. This marks a slight weakening from the previous day's fix of 6.8067 and is also higher than the Reuters estimate of 6.7929.

The reference rate serves as a guide for the yuan's daily trading band against the dollar.
