NZD/USD Slips to 0.5700 as USD Gains on Hormuz Tensions

The New Zealand Dollar continued its decline against the US Dollar for a second straight day, trading near 0.5700 during Asian hours on Tuesday. The move was driven by renewed geopolitical tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, boosting demand for the greenback.

NZDUSD

The New Zealand Dollar weakened against the US Dollar for the second consecutive day, with NZD/USD hovering around the 0.5700 mark during Asian trading on Tuesday.

The pair declined as the US Dollar held firm, supported by escalating geopolitical tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. Renewed instability in the region is fueling safe-haven demand for the greenback, putting pressure on risk-sensitive currencies like the Kiwi.
